IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium, Anaheim, California, USA

From October 27 – November 3, Southern Innovation attended the 2012 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference at the Disneyland Hotel, California, USA.

The IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference brought together 2200 engineers and scientists from around the world to share their knowledge and to showcase outstanding developments in the nuclear and medical instrumentation fields.

Technical Director Paul Scoullar presented the most recent results of Southern Innovation’s SITORO® Accelerated Analysis across a range of radiation sources, detector types and count rates.

Southern Innovation’s new 4-channel modular Taurus unit was unveiled at the conference. Taurus modules are designed to process signals from between 1 and 4 radiation detectors simultaneously. Taurus will shortly be upgraded to offer up to 8 channels of processing capability in each modular unit, providing a total of 32 channels in one system.

For more information on the Taurus unit, see our Products page.
