Southern Innovation’s GradeScan-S is a cutting edge X-ray transmission spectroscopy (XRTS) instrument delivering real time grade analysis to operators. The system is powered by our world leading SItoro® materials analysis technology, which enables unrivalled speed and accuracy.

We perform analysis over 20 times per second, providing real time Ash, Density and geometric information by combining our XRTS method and LIDAR information. This data is availble to decisions makers in real time via our cloud integration, or via local LAN or fieldbus networks.

GradeScan has been designed from the ground up for reliable operation in the harshest of environments - exhibiting over 95% uptime and six month service intervals.

Carefully engineered safety systems mean that our customers can rest assured that our devices pose no risk to operators and maintainers - our X-ray generators are electrically powered and can be turned off and locked out.
